Was ranking at #1 for a keyword for weeks, Now competitors have pushed me to #12 with backlinks and authority. How can I recover?
Do what they did. Mimic their off page. See how good their on page is. But do it better.
Cannot get the same links as my #5 and #6 competitors, seems like PBNs! Also I shy away from using PBN’s… Could you suggest a long lasting strategy? On page I’ll improve with more rich content (Already have pics, videos and 3300 words).
Concentrate on quality links, blogs and citations.
From #1 to #12, I would suggest to wait for a while and if nothing good happens then try to tune up the content.
And then there is a Google dance. I agree with this.
SEO IS SHORT TERM
As already mentioned, perhaps wait a little and if nothing changes you need to build back-links and authority to help compete. See if you can see what they did differently over the past couple of weeks to get the rank improvements.
